DALLAS (AP) — A 46-year-old woman is in the Dallas County Jail on an FBI charge of kidnapping her daughter in 2003 in Nashville, Tenn.
Jail records show Hope Lazarides was arrested and charged on Tuesday night.
FBI spokesman Mark White told Dallas-Fort Worth television station KTVT on Thursday that Lazarides would be returned to Nashville to face the charges. He said she was arrested after agents in Nashville received a tip she was living with her daughter in Dallas.
The station reported the 14-year-old girl, who was eight at the time of the alleged kidnapping, has been reunited with her father, songwriter and composer Kostas Lazarides, who lives in Montana.
It was not immediately known whether Lazarides had an attorney.
