Contract 6193-26-001 for FULL DEPTH CONCRETE REPAIR in HOPKINS County will be opened on JuLY 7, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the State Office for an estimate of $439,500.00.

Plans and specifications are available for inspection, along with bidding proposals, and applications for the TxDOT Prequalified Contractor's list, at the applicable State and/or District Offices listed below. If applicable, Bidders must submit prequalification information to TxDOT at least 10 days prior to the bid date to be eligible to bid on a project. The Sulphur Springs I.S.D. Special Education Department, 219 Ponder Street, Sulphur Springs, Texas, hereby gives notice to former special education students of Sulphur Springs I.S.D. that it no longer needs the following special education records and intends to destroy them: Special education records of all former students served prior to May 2002.

NOTICE OF DESTRUCTION OF SPECIAL EDUCATION STUDENT RECORDS

This notification is to inform parents/guardians and former students of Como-Pickton CISD’s intent to destroy the special education records of students who received special education services during the 2000-2001 school year and any years prior to that period. These records will be destroyed in accordance with state law unless the parent/guardian or eligible adult notifies the school district otherwise. Records will be destroyed in July, 2009.

The parent/guardian or eligible adult may request a copy of the records in writing or in person at the following address: Special Education Department, Como-Pickton CISD, P.O. Box 18, Como, TX 75431.

Esta notificación tiene el propósito de informar a los padres, tutores legales y estudiantes que el Distrito Escolar Como-Pickton CISD destruirá los expedientes de los alumnos que recitieron servicios de Educación Especial durante los años escolares 2000-2001 y cualquier otro  año anterior. Estos expedientes serán destruidos deacuerdo a las leyes estatales a no ser que uno de los padres, tutores legales o estud ante adulto calificado pida que no sean eliminados. Estos expedientes serán destruidos en julio, 2009.

“Child Find” Efforts

CHILD FIND IS A FEDERALLY ESTABLISHED, COMPREHENSIVE SYSTEM DESIGNED TO ASSURE THAT EACH CHILD, REGARDLESS OF DISABILITY, IS EDUCATED TOWARD HIS OR HER MAXIMUM POTENTIAL. THE PURPOSE OF CHILD FIND IS TO LOCATE, IDENTIFY, AND EVALUATE INFANTS, CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS THROUGH AGE 21 WHO MAY HAVE A DEVELOPMENTAL DELAY OR OTHER DISABILITIES.

COMO-PICKTON CISD SPECIAL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT offers comprehensive Special Education Services to eligible students ages three through 21 years and to children from birth through age 21 years who have a hearing or visual impairment. Children from birth to age three with other disabilities will be referred to appropriate agencies for services. All referrals are considered confidential, and services are provided at no cost to the family.

If you know a child who may have a problem with learning, speech, vision, hearing, or who has physical or health impairments, please urge his or her parents to contact the special education department of their local public school district. If you or the parents do not know how to contact the special education department directly, you can obtain the phone number from any school in the district.

A free, appropriate, public education with a full continuum of services is available to eligible children. Child find can open the window of hope for a brighter future.

STATE OF OKLAHOMA TO: RAMOLDO GONZALES

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT CYNTHIA PIPPIN has filed a Petition in the District Court of Bryan County, State of Oklahoma, for the adoption of the above mentioned minor child, together with their Application for an Order of this Court determining the child to be eligible for adoption without your consent. The application alleges that your consent to this adoption is not required by law for the reason that you have willfully failed to support the child since his birth, preceding the filing of the Petition herein.

YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that this Court will hear the evidence regarding the Application on the 15th day of July, 2009, at the hour of 1:30 pm at the courtroom of the District Court of Bryan County in the courthouse at Durant, Oklahoma.

If you have any cause to show why the above mentioned Application and Petition should not be granted by the Court or why the child is not eligible for adoption without your consent, you should appear and present the same at the above stated time and place.
