Advertisement and Invitation for Bids

 

The City of Sulphur Springs will receive bids for Concrete to be delivered to its project at Connally and Mulberry until 10:30 AM. on Wednesday, October 30th 2013 at the Office of the City Secretary,

125 S. Davis St., Sulphur Springs, Texas. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time, in the City Council Chambers, located in City Hall at 125 S. Davis St. This project is funded by

federal funds through the CDBG program.

 

Bids are invited for the several items and estimated quantities as follows:

1. 3000 psi 5 sack mix - 540 CY

2. Curb and Gutter Grout Mix - 100 CY

 

Bid/Contract Documents, including Technical Specifications are on file at 1313 N. Hillcrest

(City of Sulphur Springs' Service Center) , Sulphur Springs , Texas 75482 . A copy of the Bid Package which includes these specifications can be obtained at the same office or at City Hall (903) 885 -7541 .

 

The City of Sulphur Springs reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.

 

Bids may be held by City of Sulphur Springs for a period not to exceed 45 days from the date of the

bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidders' qualifications prior to the contract award.

NOTICE OF RATE CHANGE

SULPHUR SPRINGS 

Suddenlink customers who subscribe to bundled package of services with a guaranteed rate will keep the rate until it’s anniversary date. All others will notice adjustments on the price of some services, effective December 2013. Specifically, the broadcast station surcharge will increase $1.83 per month; Limited Basic TV service will increase $2.00 per month; Expanded Basic TV service will increase $1.95 per month; our entry-level high-speed Internet service will increase $2.00 per month and all other high-speed internet services will increase $5.00 per month; and digital TV package pricing will increase $5.50 per month (this adjustment is in place of, not in addition to the aforementioned Limited and Expanded Basic TV adjustments). These adjustments are necessary due to the rising cost of TV programming, equipment, insurance, network expenses for Internet services and other factors. Taxes, fees and surcharges will also be adjusted accordingly. We have bundled packages that could help off-set the listed adjustments and potentially save customers money.
