Burial will follow in Elm Grove Cemetery near Mabank.
Mrs. Yarbrough died Monday, Dec. 8, in a Tyler hospice.
Lucille F. Yarbrough was born April 18, 1922, in Van Zandt County to Paul Edward and Emma Alice Honea Turrentine. They preceded her in death.
She married L.M. Yarbrough. He survives.
Mrs. Yarbrough was a resident of Athens for 26 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Athens, where she was active for 18 years in adult Sunday school studies and activities, working alongside her husband.
She graduated from Mabank High School in 1940 with honors, then attended Draughons Business College in Dallas. She was employed by a division of the Frito-Lay Company for nine years. She later was assistant librarian at middle schools in Richardson and Houston for 10 years.
Other survivors include one son, David Yarbrough of Athens; a sister-in-law, Evelyn of Sulphur Springs; and a brother-in-law, R.A. Long of Sulphur Springs.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Hulen Turrentine; and two sisters, Redith Worden and Merle Cobb.

Arrangements were under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home in Athens.
