Funeral services for Howard Weatherall, 57, of Sulphur Springs will be held at 11a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, at Morning Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold B. Nash Sr. officiating.
Burial will follow in Mel Haven Cemetery with Billy W. Edwards, Vincent Sims, Carey Horton, Dennis Nash, Lester G. Henley and Lawrence Askew serving as pallbearers.
No formal visitation will be held.
Mr. Weatherall died Saturday, Nov. 29, in Sulphur Springs.
Howard Weatherall was born in Hopkins County, Dec. 5, 1950, the son of J.C. Weatherall Sr. and Dorothy Walker Weatherall. They preceded him in death.
He married Bertha Jean Hines in Commerce, in 1968. Mrs. Weatherall preceded him in death on Nov. 26, 2005.
Mr. Weatherall was employed for many years with Price Motor Company working as a car detailer. He was a member of Morning Chapel Baptist Church.
Surviving family includes in three sons, Howard Weatherall Jr. and Quintis Weatherall, both of Commerce, and Toby Simms of Dallas; three daughters, Tralandra Weatherall, Dematrice Weatherall and Sharnice Green all of Sulphur Springs; one brother, Robert Weatherall of Sulphur Springs; three sisters, Patricia Kelly, and Iva Jo Crook and husband George, all of Sulphur Springs, and Jo Ann Clark of Dallas; 16 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Weatherall was also preceded in death by one son, Jerry Jerome Weatherall, and one brother, J.C. Weatherall Jr.
