Graveside services for Kimberly K. Winchell McLarry, 47, of Yantis will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at Restlawn Cemetery in Liberal, KS, with Pastor Allen Christopherson presiding.
Kimberly K. Winchell McLarry died Friday, June 26, 2009, at her residence in Yantis, TX.
She was born Oct. 17, 1961, at Ulysses, Kansas, daughter of George Richard III “Rick” and Chestamae “Pat” (Herron) Winchell.
She had been a resident of Yantis Texas for 20 years, and was formerly of Liberal, KS.
She had a Master’s degree in small business and a BA in small business management. She was a district manger for Avon, a math teacher and a school counselor for several years. She just recently closed her Bar and Grill.
She is survived by one son, Jared A. McLarry of Sulphur Springs, TX; her mother and step-father, Pat and Floyd Sturch of Curtis, AR; two brothers, Greggory D. Winchell and wife Barbara of Lufkin, TX, and Jeffrey L. Winchell of Key Largo, FL; one sister, Jana Winchell Courange and husband Lee of Canadian, TX; her grandmother Emma Herron of Curtis, AR; four uncles, Bob Herron and wife Chris of Curtis, AR, Kenneth Herron and wife Tanya of Curtis, AR, Johnny Herron and wife Trecia of Arkadelphia, AR, and Chuck Winchell of Balko, OK; four nephews; three nieces; one great-nephew; one great-niece; and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, George “Rick” Winchell III; and her grandparents, George and Martha Winchell, Chester Herron.
In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials may be sent to National Multiple Sclerosis Society, in care of Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home, 1212 W. 2nd, Liberal, KS 67901.
