Funeral services for Helen Gertrude Mobley, 86, of Greenville,  formerly of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 20, 2009, at First Baptist Church, Spence Chapel  with the Rev. Fred Lewis officiating.
Interment will follow at Emblem Cemetery with Dean Ferrell, Donald Pool, Randy Price, Billy Wayne Mobley, Ronnie Azlin and Danny Williams serving as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will be Sam Speed, Cleatus Speed, David McDonald and Ronnie White.  
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2009, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Helen Mobley passed away at Briarcliff Health Center of Greenville, Thursday morning, June 18, 2009. 
She was born in the Emblem community on Nov. 26, 1922, the daughter of J. C. Ferrell and Ethel Speed Ferrell. 
She married Robert Howard Mobley in Sulphur Springs on April 12, 1941. He preceded her in death in 1986. 
Mrs. Mobley was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Bobby Mobley of Greenville; one brother, Jerry Ferrell of Sulphur Springs; two sisters, Sally Williams of Emblem and Betty McDonald of Dallas; and one grandson, Aaron Mobley of Fort Worth.
Arrangements are under the direction of  Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home
