Louann Tadlock Stewart went to heaven on Sunday, April 19, 2009 after a courageous eight-year battle with breast cancer.
Louann was born September 21, 1953 to J. D. and Polly Tadlock in Fort Worth, Texas.
She graduated from Frisco High School in 1971 and has worked in the Bridgeport ISD for the past 11 years. She was an active member of the Runaway Bay Community Church
Louann’s life was a testimony of her deep faith in Christ, devotion to her family, and the love she had for her many friends. Louann was a strong advocate of a cure for breast cancer. She participated in numerous Relay for Life and Koman Race for the Cure events
She took one of life’s most difficult situations and turned it into good.
Louann is survived by her husband, Roy Stewart of Bridgeport; her son, Tad Stallings and his wife, Lindsay of Fort Worth; her daughter, Tandy Stallings of Denton; and one granddaughter, Katherine Louann Stallings. She is also survived by her mother, Polly Tadlock of Frisco; sisters, Jo Kays Williams of Sulphur Springs, Connie Yates of Frisco, Marilyn Ellis of Denton and brother, J. D. Tadlock, Jr. of Pilot Point. She was preceded in death by her father, J. D. Tadlock.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 21, from 6-8pm at Jones Family Funeral Home, Bridgeport.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday, April 22, 2:00pm at First Baptist Church, Bridgeport.
Interment will follow at Prairie Mound Cemetery, Argyle.
