Mitz  Mitzi LeeAnn Janway, age 29, of Sulphur Springs, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2009 in Dallas, Texas.


 Mitzi was born in Jacksboro, Texas to Mickey Lee and Clarissa Ann King Clayton on May 17, 1979. After graduating from high school, she married the love of her life, Casey Janway. They were married on June 5, 1999 in the Peerless Assembly of God.

 Mitzi loved life and she was full of life. She never met a stranger. She was the heartbeat of her family and always tried to take care of everybody. Her big blue eyes would just melt your heart. She really loved her nieces and nephews and was thought of as “Aunt Mitzi” to everyone’s children. Mitzi enjoyed her plants and flowers and playing pranks on all of her family. Above all, God was always first and foremost in her life.

 In addition to her husband and parents, she is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Mindy and Bryan Hicks of Cooper, Texas; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mike and Sue Janway of Sulphur Springs, Texas; grandparents, Paul and Shirley King of Jacksboro, Texas, Velma Clayton of Graham, Texas, Leeo and Lois Janway of Sulphur Springs, Jaque Vesely of the Tira Community; brother-in-laws and their wives, Randy and Charity Janway of Cooper, Texas, Richard and Charlotte Janway of Sulphur Springs, Texas; nieces and nephews, Breeanna and Brennen Hicks, Jaden and Natalie Janway all of Cooper, Texas; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and lots and lots of friends.

 Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of the 1st Assembly of God in Cooper, Texas with Bro. Steve Miller and Bro. Billy Helms officiating.

 The family will receive friends on Monday evening, April 20, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will take place in the North Hopkins Cemetery with Randy Janway, Richard Janway, Bryan Hicks, Larry Cox, Danny Joe Jennings, and Clint Gill serving as pallbearers. West Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
