Burial will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with friends of the family serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, April 10, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Anderson died Monday, April 7, at Covenant Hospital in Lubbock.
Jewell Lorene Green was born in Hopkins County on Oct. 26, 1915, the daughter of Clarence C. Green and Olee Cromer Green.
She married Doyle T. Anderson in First United Methodist Church in Sulphur Springs on July 5, 1946. He preceded her in death on March 10, 1983.
Mrs. Anderson was a homemaker, a lifelong teacher, having taught in Klondike, Mount Vernon, Mount Pleasant, Brashear and Sulphur Springs. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a long-time member of Wesley United Methodist Church. After relocating to Lubbock, she joined St. Luke’s United Methodist Church.
Survivors includes two sons, Gary Anderson of Dallas, and Frank Anderson and his wife, Teri, of Lubbock; one sister, Lola Faye Vickers and her husband, R. C., of Paris; five grandchildren, Julia Wilhite and husband Cory of Dike, Rosa Blake and husband Kirt of Wylie, and Seth Anderson, Hope Anderson and Bethany Anderson, all of Lubbock; and four great-grandchildren, Preston Sims, Megan Blake, Hayley Wilhite and Kobie Wilhite.
Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Inez King; and two brothers, Cecil Green and R. L. Green.
