Memorial services for Michael Robert Chrisman, 52, of Sulphur Springs will be held at noon Monday, March 30, in Ridgeway Cemetery.
Mr. Chrisman died Thursday, March 19, at Parkland Hospital in Dallas.
Michael Robert Chrisman was born in LaGrande, Ore., on Nov. 30, 1956, the son of Wallace Chrisman Sr. and Mary Boynton Chrisman. They preceded him in death.
He married Retha Aline Whirley in Quitman on April 3, 1979. She survives.
Mr. Chrisman served in the U.S. Army. He was a self-employed construction worker. He was a member of the Christian faith.
Other survivors include one daughter, Ashley Wright of Greenville; one son, James Robert Smith and wife Laci of Van; four stepchildren, Phyllis Cox, Betty Morris, Herman Morris and L.A. Morris, all of Sulphur Springs; three sisters, Debra Pryor and husband Lee of Sulphur Springs, Tammy Nepomuceno of Belton and Brenda Chrisman of Ridgeway; one brother, Wallace Chrisman Jr. and wife Betty of Ridgeway; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one brother.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Cremation accorded by Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
