A memorial service for Jo Porter, 81, of Sulphur Springs will be held at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, March 15, at First United Pentecostal Church in Sulphur Springs.
There will be no formal visitation.
Jo Porter died Friday night, March 6, 2009, at Sunny Springs Nursing Home.
She was born in Anson on Aug. 13, 1927, the daughter of E. Albert Bell and Ruth (Stites) Bell.
She married Franklin M. Porter in San Marcos on March 11, 1950. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Porter was a homemaker and a member of United Pentecostal Church in Sulphur Springs.
Survivors include one son, Roy Porter; three grandchildren, Paul Porter, Edwin Porter, Deborah Mullens; and eight great-grandchildren, all of Washington.
Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
