Duane ‘Butch’ Jones
    Funeral services for Duane “Butch” Jones, 75, of Campbell, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Pam Zolczer officiating.  

    A Masonic graveside service will follow at Greenview Cemetery with Rodney Harred, Mike Eaves, Jacob Gowins, Josh Gowins, Kyle Smith, Toby Parker, Lee Grantham and Brandon Alford serving as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will be Conner John, Alvis Alderman, Ted Oates, Weldon Wallace and Don Morgan.
    Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, at the funeral home.   
    Mr. Jones died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, at Mesquite Specialty Hospital in Mesquite.  
    Mr. Jones was born Feb. 17, 1938, in Dike, the son of Grady and Oleta (Eppars) Jones.  
    He married Linda Kellum on June 17, 1960, in Dike. She survives.  
    Mr. Jones was a fireman with the Dallas Fire Department for over 30 years.  
    He was a member of the Masonic Lodge No.1367, built homes all over Hopkins County, raised horses and was a member of Campbell Methodist Church.  
    Other survivors include a son, Keith Jones of Commerce; daughters Gina Vittetoe Giles and husband, Jamy, of Commerce, Lisa Jones Gentry and James Keel of Bonham; brother-in-law Terry Gregg of Sulphur Springs; sisters-in-law Nina Alford and husband, Bill, of Sulphur Springs and Judith Gowins and husband, James, of Kaufman; grandchildren Casey Vittetoe Harrison and husband, Phil, of Fort Worth, Jessica Jones of Galveston, Brody Vittetoe of Greenville and Molly Jones of Rustin, La.; one great-grandchild, Evelyn Marie Jones of Galveston; and several nieces and nephews.  
    He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Judy Gregg; granddaughter Stacy Nicole Vittetoe; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Bobbie Cruse Kellum; son-in-law Jeff Vittetoe and daughter-in-law Kelly Walker Jones.
