    Funeral services for Lora V. Manico, 87, of Garland will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Robert Barr officiating.

    Interment will follow at Black Oak Cemetery with her grandsons serving as pallbearers.
    Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
    Lora Manico died Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, at Lake Pointe Medical Center in Rowlett.
    She was born on March 3, 1926, in Globe, Ariz., the daughter of Ray and Hazel Jones McKinney.
    She was a member of First Baptist Church of Como.
    She worked for Sears for 15 years and was also a homemaker.
    Survivors include a son, Billy Dean Baker and, wife, Sara of Allen; daughter Lynda Houston and husband, William, of Garland; grandchildren Steven Ray Houston, Laurie Lynn Catherwood, Paul Scott Houston, Daniel Ross Houston, Deana Lewis, David Baker, Rene Demeree, Tabathia Baker, Erin Baker and Andrew Baker; 21 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husbands, Billy Jack Baker in 1981 and Norman Manico in 1993; son Neale Lynn Baker; daughter Dianne Kay Baker and brothers Bobby Joe McKinney and Wayne Jones McKinney.
