Funeral services for Hauie Bell, 95, of Sulphur Springs were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, in Cherry Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Curtis Seals and the Rev. Rudy Ellis officiating.
Burial will follow in Cherry Grove Cemetery with Patrick Young, R. Lee, Norris Harris, Roland Wilburn and Maro Conley serving as pallbearers.
Mr. Bell died Wednesday evening, Feb. 11, at his residence.
Hauie Bell was born Aug. 26, 1913, in Pittsburg, the son of Chaster Bell and Sophie Heath Bell.
Mr. Bell was a dairy and truck farmer. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews, Olivia Conley of Sulphur Springs, Arrie Lee, Lavern Thompson and Norvis Harris, all of Dallas, Dorothy Harris of Gun Barrell City, Leasure Conley, Milissa Conley, Christy Harris, Mario Conley, Matthew Conley, John Conley, Vera Conley Stephanis Conley, Byron Harris, Myron Harris, Carlos Thompson, Kendra Thompson, Patrick Goodson, Ashley Goodson,Toria Young, Mary Davis, Lil Carlos Thompson, E’Dream Jones, Jaquan Jones, Kaden Conley, Destiny Conley, Ira Conley, Kionna Conley, Dee Dee Conley, Vera Conley.
Mr. Bell was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Arrie Bell; and one sister, Addie Louise Harris.
