A funeral service for Robert Castleberry, age 24, of Sulphur Springs will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013, at The Way Bible Church with Dr. Joel Tiemeyer, the Rev. Damon Wilks and the Rev. Jeff Tiemeyer officiating.
Interment will follow at Shooks Chapel Cemetery with Tom Ellis escorting “Bella,” Josh Harrington, Jason Schweigert, Chasen Folmar, Colton Wilks, Calan Ashmore, Mat Ragan, Chet Ragan, Joe Bell, Jeremy Potter and Ryan Dover serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be the late Caleb Ewalt.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013, at The Way Bible Church.
Robert Castleberry passed away Saturday evening, Aug. 10, 2013, at Cook Childrens’ Hospital in Ft. Worth. He was born in Mesquite Aug. 15, 1988, the son of Bobby Glenn Castleberry and Katherine Ann (Beasley) Harrington. Following graduation in 2006, he became a welder for Matrix and a member of The Way Bible Church.
Survivors include his mother, Kay Harrington and stepfather, Kevin Harrington, of Sulphur Springs; father Bobby Castleberry and stepmother, Karen Castleberry, of Royse City; two sisters, Amanda Ellis and husband, Tom, of Abilene and Vivian Beasley of Sulphur Springs; two brothers, Ben Herzog of Royse City and Jake Herzog of New York; fiancé Cammie Pingel; grandmother Thelma Beasley, all of Sulphur Springs; grandparents Charles and Kay Harrington of Tennessee; grandfather Bobby Castleberry Sr. of Eastland; nieces and nephews, Madison Ellis and Eli Herzog; his dog, Bella; and cousins.
He was preceded in death by grandfather John Beasley; grandmother Norma Castleberry; and special friend, Caleb Ewalt.
Memorials may be made to the Robert Castleberry Foundation at Alliance Bank.
