A funeral service for Sandra Kay Trumble, 66, of Point, a native of Como, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, at the First Baptist Church in Point.
A private burial will follow in the Trumble Cemetery.
She died Monday morning, Feb. 16, at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Sandra Kay Trumble was born in Como, on Dec. 3, 1942, the daughter of Jeff Ector and Winona Lorrraine Yarborough Taylor Jr.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Lora Gowin of Point and Connie Dickson of Royse City; two sons, Joseph Trumble of Alamogordo, N.M., and John Trumble of Point; three step-daughters, Pam Causey of Caddo Mills, Gina Pruitt of Kansas and LaTonna Caccamo of Illiniois; one step-son, Joe Allen Trumble of Point; mother, Lorraine Westbrook of Sulphur Springs; one sister, V’Annis Grimes and husband Ray of Martin Springs; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father in 1982; one sister in 1984; one brother in 1994; and one son, Windell Gowin Jr., in 2001.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home of Emory was in charge of arrangements.
