Funeral service for Emma Floy “Polly” Caudle, 88, of Sulphur Springs will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 2013, in West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Burns officiating.

Interment will follow at Brashear Cemetery with Cody Jennings, Kevin McDonald, Daniel McDonald, Colton McDonald, Bradley Caudle, Bryan Caudle, Rhye Caudle and Alex Ritchie serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at West Oaks Funeral Home.

Mrs. Caudle passed away at her residence on Monday, June 3, 2013, after an extended illness.

She was born in Hopkins County, Texas, on Oct. 27, 1924, the daughter of William Franklin and Ruby Alice Ward Green.

She married J.D. “Pete” Caudle on Oct. 25, 1942. He preceded her in death on Feb. 10, 2000. 

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker, former Sunday school teacher and a longtime member of Brashear Baptist Church. Her life revolved around her family.

She is survived by two sons, Roger Caudle, Jimmy Caudle and wife, Sherry, both of Sulphur Springs; daughter Linda Bolton and husband, Gary, of Brashear, Texas; grandchildren Sherry Jennings, Stacey McDonald and husband, Paul, Rodney Caudle and wife, Jennifer, Ryan Caudle and wife, Ann, Robyn Camby and husband, Duane, Kristie Hillary and husband, Shaun, and Jemma Caudle; great-grandchildren Cody Jennings and wife, Kayla, Kevin, Daniel and Colton McDonald, Bradley and Bryan Caudle, Britney Bowen, Hannah and Rhye Caudle, Alex Ritchie, Ryan and Reid Camby, Brodie, Talon, and Dayton Hillary and Aubree Wetzel, and great-great-grandchildren Wyatt and Bryli Jennings.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; grandson Brent Caudle; daughter-in-law Nancy Caudle; three brothers, Lonzo, Murray and Buford Green; and eight sisters, Eva and Rosa Green, Mae McPherson, Lillian Walls, Drucilla Walls, Ruth Farquhar, Juanita Delano and Verna Wood. 

Arrangements are under the direction of West Oaks Funeral Home.
