Jacqueline Bruton Crone, 93, of Lake Havasu City, Az., passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013. She was born Feb. 27, 1920 to Ben Bruton and Mamie Record Bruton in Tira in Hopkins County.

Jacque came to Arizona with her family when she was 18. She met William E. "Bill" Crone of Tucson, Az. They were married on Aug. 6, 1941, at North Central Methodist Church, Phoenix, Az. They made their home in Tucson, Az. Jacque and Bill had 61 years together. 

After Bill was home for three years from World War II, they moved to Yuma, Az. Bill was an agent for Southern Pacific R.R. and Jacque worked with First Federal Savings and Loan Association in Yuma. 

She was always active in her church, First United Methodist, Yuma, and children's activities. Her church family was very dear to her. Jacque's passion was staying in touch with her many friends and family wherever they were, most especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Ron W. Crone and his wife, Jan, of Lake Havasu City, Az.; daughter Nelda Jeanne Hudson and Paul Settrini of Laveen, Az.; six grandchildren, Natalie Jeanne Van Rooy of Lake Havasu, Az., Jeffrey W. Crone of Lake Havasu, Az., Will A. Hudson and wife, Candy, of Black Canyon City, Az., Kyle L. Hudson of Phoenix, Az., Tania Love of Somerset, Calif., and Kevin Love and wife, Teri, of Henderson Nev.; and eight great-grandchildren Angelica Michelle Hudson, William Lee Hudson, Will A. Van Rooy, Jett William Lee Hudson and Joseph, Cayna, Bethanie and John Love.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Bill; brothers Pete, Lindy and Ben Reed Bruton; and sister Nelda Ruth Dodson.

Services were held at noon Saturday, April 27, at Funeraria del Angels, Yuma, Az., with Pastor Jon Flynt officiating. Internment followed at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, Yuma, Az.

Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory. 

In lieu of flowers, the family recommends donations to Sjogren's Syndrome Foundation, 6707 Democracy Blvd, Suite 325 Bethesda, Md., 20817.
