Funeral services for Sue Lindley, 77, of Brashear will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 21, at Brashear Baptist Church with the Rev. David Burns officiating.
Interment will follow at Cumby Cemetery with Jon Bell, Austin Bell, Carley Everett, Mark Heisler, Adrian Bustos and Darren Porter serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Mrs. Lindley died Monday, March 18, 2013, at her residence.
She was born Jan. 15, 1936, in Cumby, the daughter of Lauwana Alfred “Buck” Martin and Ruby (Nichols) Martin.
She married David Glen Lindley on Aug. 28, 1954, in Commerce. He survives.
Mrs. Lindley retired from Continental Insurance after 32 years as a claims adjuster. She also worked as a school secretary for Miller Grove ISD and for Gabbert's Furniture as a secretary and was a member of Brashear Baptist Church.
Other survivors include two sisters, Linda Davis of Cumby and Paula Everett of Tyler, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Arrangements are under the direction of West Oaks Funeral Home.
