Funeral services for Melba Connally, 95, of Texarkana will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, at the Myra Wilson Chapel with Michael Moore officiating.
Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the Myra Wilson Chapel.
Melba Connally died Friday morning, Feb. 22, 2013, at the Isle of Watercrest Assisted Living in Mansfield.
She was born to pioneer Texarkana merchant, Richard Newton Rivers and Annie (Schardon) Rivers on Dec. 30, 1917, in Texarkana.
She married Perry Woodrow Connally on Sept. 27, 1940, in Albuquerque, N.M. He preceded her in death in 1999.
Ms. Connally was a homemaker and an antique dealer. She was also a member of the Downtown First Baptist Church in Texarkana and the Gateway Garden Club.
Survivors include a son, Bill Connally of Arlington; two nieces and two nephews.
She was also preceded in death by six siblings.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Tapp Funeral Home.
