    Graveside services for Jobie Griner Jr., 81, of Sulphur Springs will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, in Caney Cemetery with Bobby Keller officiating. 

    Mr. Griner died Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, in Paris, Texas.
    Jobie Griner Jr. was born on July 10, 1931, in Berrion, Ga., the son of Jobie W. Griner, Sr. and Hattie Baker.
    He married Patsy Ruth Ray on Oct. 15, 1954, in Rockwall. She survives.
    Mr. Griner was a retired machinist with Rockwell International, now Nordstrom Valve Inc. He also served in the U.S. Army during the Berlin Airlift.
    He was of the Baptist faith.
    Other survivors include his three daughters, Debra Eppars and Felton of Sulphur Springs, Eda Mae Davis and Tony of Idaho and Lynda Weems and Danny of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren Candace Williams, Emily Brown, Bobby Joe Griner, Stephanie Macias, Mindy Dixon, April Welch, Joshua Alkire, Jeremy Alkire and Jason Alkire; 21 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Dovie Sumner and Linda Webb.
    Mr. Griner was preceded in death by a son, Joey Steve Griner; grandsons Ryan Williams and Joey Dixon; sisters Martha Gandy and Ruby Cribb; and brothers Joseph Griner and Lefler Griner.
