Funeral services for Eric White, 54, of Quitman are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at First Baptist Church in Quitman with the Rev. Charles Brewster and the Rev. Tony Wofford officiating.
Interment will follow in the Muddy Creek Cemetery with Paul Harper, Brusker Fannin, Rick Burgos, Henry Sanders, Charles Edwards and Kenneth Hunter serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth White, Richard White, Willie Henry, Darron Burkley, Paul Brown, Anthony Berry and Roy Eubanks.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, at Lowe Funeral Home.
Mr. White died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at East Texas Medical Center.
Eric White was born June 17, 1958, in Sulphur Springs, to Choyce Givens and Ida Virginia West White. They preceded him in death.
He was a Baptist and a deacon of New Life Baptist Church in Quitman. He was a lease operator for Petro-Hunt LLC.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Triplett White, of Quitman; two daughters, Lauren White and Leslie White, both of Quitman; two brothers, Kenneth White of Quitman and Richard White of Tyler; eight sisters, Ida Joyce White of San Leandro, Calif., Velma Ruff of Como, Cleoria Bozeman of Como, Doris Green of Quitman, Lilli Green of Compton, Calif., Margaret Wright and Eloise Wright, both of Sulphur Springs, and Coretha Bruce of Arlington.
