Mrs. Gilliam-Griffin died Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital.
Tanya Lynne Gilliam-Griffin was born on June 21, 1955, in Casablanca, French Morocco, the daughter of Charles Milton and Jerry Layne White Gilliam.
She married E.F. “Rick” Griffin in Reno, Nev., on Dec. 14, 1978. He survives.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Other survivors include three sons, Frank Griffin of Pennsylvania, Ben Griffin of Point and Zach Griffin of Point; two daughters, Layne Griffin-Nyberg and husband, Michael, of Arizona, and Rashon Griffin-Barrett and husband, Cameron, of Brashear; one brother, Charles Michael Gilliam and wife, Diane, of Virginia; and 21 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her stepfather, William Hill.
Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
