Funeral services for Wilma Evelyn Templeton Goolsby, 92, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at First United Methodist Church in Cooper, with the Rev. Bart Smith and the Rev. Steve Cook officiating.
Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Goolsby died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013.
She was born Dec. 6, 1917, in Charleston, the daughter of Amos Wynn Templeton and Salina Lucinda McGuyer.
She married Grady D. Goolsby on Jan. 16, 1937, in Hugo, Okla. He preceded her in death on Oct. 11, 1999.
She graduated from Cooper High School and East Texas State University with a teaching certificate.
Mrs. Goolsby was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cooper and taught Sunday school. She was a member of the Barron Fellowship Class and worked with the youth.
She lived in Dallas for the past 13 years.
Survivors include three sons, Joe Ed and Juaneille Goolsby of Sherman, Charles Wynn Goolsby and Alice Mayo of Wylie and Richard Grady and Shirley Goolsby of Richland Hills; seven grandchildren, Joe Micheal and Kelli Goolsby of Sherman, John Charles Goolsby of Sherman, Mary Elizabeth and Russell Yeatts of Flower Mound, Tim and Adriana Dollar, Kimberly Ann and Curtis Loveday of Batavia, Ill., Richard Kyle and Julie Goolsby of Richland Hills and Katie Lee and Fred Kemp of Richland Hills; and 10 great-grandchildren, Reagan Taylor and Lauren Nicole Goolsby of Sherman, Morgan Emily and Mason Aubrey Yeatts of Flower Mound, Luis Pablo and Veronica Dollar of Bedford, Brooke and Brandon Charles Belair of Batavia, Ill., Faith Hanna Goolsby of Richland Hills and Grey David Kemp of Richland Hills.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers Gobel Templeton and Wayne Templeton; and sisters Lola Westbrook, Beauton Riley and Olpha Aldridge.
