A funeral service for Virginia Parker, 70, of Sulphur Springs will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, in Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Craig officiating.
Interment will follow at 3 p.m. at Chidester Cemetery in Camden, Ark., with Tom Young, Mike Turner, Cecil Luna, Elvin harry, Larry Johnson and Jonathan Crawford serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Parker died at her residence Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012.
Virginia Parker was born in Camden, Ark., on Feb. 15, 1942, the daughter of Elmos Leon Phillips and Virgie Essie (Siders) Phillips.
She married Max Calvin Parker in Camden, Ark., on Aug. 8, 1967. He survives.
Mrs. Parker was a homemaker and a member of Church of the Nazarene.
Other survivors include a daughter, Melissa Parker and husband, John Paul, of Fordyce, Ark.; grandchildren Ryan Parker and Taylor, Seth Parker and Alex Lindsey, and Trent Parker; and two nephews, Phillip O’Neal and Randy O’Neal.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Vernon O’Neal.
