Funeral services for Jessie Louise Pope, 77, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bennie Chaffin officiating.
Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park with Michael Matthews, Jon Swindell, Lee Murrell, James Morgan, Kevin Rohr and Jimmy Pope serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, at West Oaks Funeral Home.
Mrs. Pope passed away Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital.
Jessie Louise Pope was born Aug. 10, 1935, in Floydada, the daughter of Burt and Ida Mae (Cunningham) Delcore.
She married Truman Leon Pope on Nov. 25, 1954, in Durant, Okla. He survives.
Mrs. Pope was a homemaker and a member of Central Baptist Church.
Mrs. Pope was an expert at restoring antique and old dolls.
Other survivors include her children, Deborah Morey and husband, Bob, and Leon Pope and wife, Denise, all of Sulphur Springs; daughter-in-law, Jacquiline Thompson Pope of Royce City; eight grandchildren, including Michael Matthews, Jon Swindell and Randy Wilson, all of Sulphur Springs; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Clifford Dean Pope; and two brothers, Billy Bob Delcore and Harrell Lee Delcore.
Arrangements are under the direction of West Oaks Funeral Home.
