Graveside services for Edna Sawyer, 93, of Sulphur Springs have been set for 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, at Restlawn Memorial Park with Sid, Seth and Shane Sawyer officiating.
Mrs. Sawyer’s grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
A visitation will be held at Restlawn Memorial Park at 2 p.m. Sunday.
Mrs. Sawyer died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at Sulphur Springs Health and Rehab.
Edna Sawyer was born in Winters on May 12, 1919, the daughter of William Baines and Frances Ada Guy Worthington.
She married Earl Davis Sawyer in Winters on Feb. 1, 1936. He preceded her in death in 1991.
Mrs. Sawyer was a homemaker. She was also of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Gena Sawyer; grandchildren Sidney Layton Sawyer, Seth Ren Sawyer and Shane Eric Sawyer; and great-grandchildren Colby Parker Sawyer, Sara Beth Sawyer, Rebecca Quinn Sawyer, Ryder Davis Sawyer, Orin Macaiah Sawyer, Madelyn Tess Sawyer and Kylie Deane Sawyer.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Layton Sawyer; three brothers, Wallace Worthington, Gaylon Worthington and Leon Worthington; and one sister, Polly Cheek.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sulphur Springs Health and Rehab Activity Fund.
Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
