A funeral service for Gerry Prince, 51, of Sulphur Springs will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Scott and the Rev. Gary Thompson officiating.
Interment will follow at Posey Cemetery with Bryan Prince, Blake Prince, Rusty Branch, Kevin Keen, David Tubbs, Jack Duke, John Dooley and Johnny Williams serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Gentzler Electric employees.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Mr. Prince died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at his residence.
Gerry Prince was born in Greenville on April 24, 1961, the son of Calvin Scottie Prince and Jo Ann (Ferrell) Prince.
Mr. Prince was an electrician for Gentzler Electric Company in Dallas. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two sons, Bryan Keith Prince of Sulphur Springs and Robert Blake Prince of Garland; one daughter, Amy Michele Prince of Balch Springs; his parents; fiancé, Carla Beavers of Sulphur Springs; one stepdaughter, Darby Beavers of Sulphur Springs; and grandchildren Alyssa Jhade Alexander and Isaac Taylor Alexander.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Calvin DeWayne Prince and his grandparents, Homer and Pearl Ferrell, and Charlie and Maggie Prince.
