Funeral services for Lloyd O’Neill Jaynes, 80, of Como will be held at Black Oak Church at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8, with the Rev. Wade Bryant officiating.
Interment will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 9, at Dickerson Cemetery in San Augustine. Honory pallbearers will be Brandon, Jaynes, Windel Lloyd Wilson, Thomas Scott Fox and Clifton Deane Fox.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, at Beaty Funeral Home, 816 West Broadway St. in Winnsboro.
Mr. Jaynes died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012.
Lloyd O’Neill Jaynes was born on March 20, 1932, in Linden to the late Thomas Stalcup Jaynes and Mary John Duncan Jaynes.
He was an electric motor repairman and served in the United States Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Emma Sue Jaynes of Como; a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry Calvin and Becki Jaynes of Como; a daughter and son-in-law, Janice Eloise and Windel Wilson of Mabank; sisters Mable Ball and husband, E.W., of Lone Star, Lorene Morris of Harleton, Bobbie Berryman of Crosby and Jo Story of Little Elm; nine grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Lloyd Gayland Jaynes; one daughter, Julia Kathleen Grothers; one sister; and two brothers.
