Graveside services for C.O. “Slim” Hunt, 84, of Sulphur Springs have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept.
9, at Greenview Cemetery with Bro. Ledon Hamilton officiating.
Mr. Hunt’s family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be before at the community center.
Mr. Hunt passed away Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, at Mount Pleasant Healthcare in Mount Pleasant.
C.O. Hunt was born Aug. 13, 1928, in Corinth, Miss., the son of Floyd and Lois D. Dixon Hunt.
He married Violet McAnally; she preceded him in death in 2011. He married Frances Marilyn Rushing in Lamar County; she survives.
He was a mechanic and of the Baptist faith.
Other survivors include his daughters, Kathy Weaver of Brashear, Hilda Dismukes and husband, Neal, of Blossom, and Lori Martin of Fort Worth; sons Glen McNeece, and wife, Joyce, of Orange County, Calif., Roy McNeece and wife, Brenda, of Paris, Roger McNeece and wife, Julie, of Paris, and Robert McNeece and wife, Pearl, of Memphis, Tenn.; 18 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and nephew George McNeece, and wife, Linda.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter, Cassandra McNeece.
