A graveside service for Lillie Myra Neal, 100, of Sulphur Springs were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 3, in North
Hopkins Cemetery with the Rev. Eugene Adams officiating.
Interment followed under the direction of the Delta Funeral Home.
Mrs. Neal died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, in Sulphur Springs.
Lillie Myra Neal was born in the Cleveland community of Delta County on Oct. 12, 1911, the daughter of John Sneed and Vickie Gibson Sneed.
She married Prentice Monroe Neal on Sept. 4, 1924; he preceded her in death on June 11, 1995.
Mrs. Neal lived most of her life in Hopkins and Delta counties. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Frances Price of Wolfe City; one sister, Faye Williams of Fort Worth; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Fred, Earl and Olen Sneed; and one sister, Clara Randle.
Arrangements were under the direction of Delta Funeral Home of Cooper.
