James Ronald ‘Ronnie’ Renshaw

Funeral services for James Ronald “Ronnie” Renshaw, 63, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at Miller Grove Methodist Church with the Rev. Fred Lewis officiating.

Interment will follow at Miller Grove Cemetery with James Oler, Jamie Lindsey, Andy Rubarts, Ben Branton, Jack Branton, Adam Gilbert and David Gilbert serving as pallbearers.
    Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, 2012, at West Oaks Funeral Home.
    Mr. Renshaw passed away Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, at East Texas Medical Center in Quitman.
    He was born on Dec. 19, 1948, in Dallas, the son of James Carroll and Lillie Belle (Davis) Renshaw.
    He married Carolyn Henderson. She survives.
    Mr. Renshaw was a carpenter and worked for Lowe's. He served in the United States Navy. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
    Other survivors include his children, Cynthia Kaye Wesley and husband, Randy, of Rockwall, James Randall Renshaw of Miller Grove, Angelina Ballentine and husband, Jesse Don, and Kristie Johnson and husband, Sam, all of Sulphur Springs; his mother, Lillie Belle Renshaw of Miller Grove; four sisters, Sherry Gilbert and husband, Paul, of Mesquite, Phyllis Haywood and husband, Ken, of Sulphur Springs, Susan C. White of Emory, and Lisa Oler and husband, Jackiem of Point; seven grandchildren, James Nathan Hardaway, Jamie Lindsey, Megan Turman, Jakorian Johnson, Sierra Dawn Ballentine, Ashley Kegley and Scotty Peebles; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    He was also preceded in death by his father.
