Funeral services for Lonnie Furbay, 64, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 29, at Wesley United Methodist Church with the Rev. Brian Bosworth officiating.
Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park with Jimmy Regan, David Kelly, Lanny Cafey, Mike Rawson, Mason Rawson and Jim Skaggs serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 28, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Lonnie Furbay passed away Wednesday afternoon, July 25, 2012, at the Heart Hospital in Plano.
He was born in Newcomers Town, Ohio, on Oct. 2, 1947, the son of John Leroy Furbay and Frances E. (Warner) Furbay.
He married Sharon Heath in Durant, Okla., on July 7, 1972. She survives.
Mr. Furbay was a customer service representative in quality control for FlowServe. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
He was a graduate of East Texas State University.
Other survivors include one daughter, Debra Furbay of Sulphur Springs, and one brother, Ronald Lance Furbay of Newcomers Town, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
