Graveside services for Lydia Ellen Nelson, 90, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at Bruno Cemetery in Bruno, Ark., with Bro. David Shekels officiating.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison, Ark.
Pallbearers will be Jim Bob Nelson, Jeff Nelson, Mike Slusher, Michael Carlton, Tom Nelson and Jason Gray.
Mrs. Nelson died Sunday, June 3, 2012, at Carriage House Manor in Sulphur Springs.
Mrs. Nelson was born on Feb. 8, 1922, in Bruno, Ark., the daughter of Robert and Mariah (Davis) Lowery.
She married Edward H. Nelson on Nov. 18, 1940, in LeMoore, Calif. He preceded her in death on April 10, 2009.
Mrs. Nelson was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two sons, Bob Nelson and Steve Nelson and wife, Charlotte, all of Sulphur Springs; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Una Lowery, Bessie Lowery and Lona Willard; and three brothers, Troy Lowery, Garland Lowery and an infant brother.
Local arrangements are under the direction of West Oaks Funeral Home.
