Funeral services for Cleo Leverton, 83, of Sulphur Springs will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, in Tapp Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Jordan officiating.
Burial will follow in Richland Cemetery with Bryan Forshee, Brian Leverton, Chad Leverton, Micah Colyer, David Winstead and Buddy Winstead serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, at the funeral home.
Ms. Leverton died on Sunday evening, Jan. 18, at Sulphur Springs Health and Rehab Center.
Cleo Bornman was born Sept. 27, 1925, in Boswell, Okla., the daughter of Perry Bornman and Phoebe Bacon Bornman. They preceded her in death.
She married T. C. Leverton in Hugo, Okla., on Dec. 29, 1945. He preceded her in death in 2000.
Ms. Leverton was a homemaker. She was a member of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include one son, Danny Leverton of Poetry; two daughters, Linda Paulette Winstead and Donna Lynn Colyer and husband Norman, all of Sulphur Springs; six grandchildren, David Paul Winstead, Buddy Lynn Winstead, Chad Leverton, Brian Leverton, Chasity Campbell and Micah Colyer; and one great-grandson, David Wayne Winstead.
Ms. Leverton was also preceded in death by one grandson, Jason Leverton; and one daughter, Susie Kaye Leverton; and one son-in-law, David Winstead.
