Funeral services for the Rev. Bobby Frank Givens, 67, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, at West Oaks Funeral Homewith the Rev. LaRon Jeffery officiating.
Interment will follow in Mel Haven Cemetery with Kenneth Shaw Jr., Darwin Shaw, Carroll Moore, Milton Shaw, Frederick Shaw and Meddie Shaw Jr. serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, at the funeral home.
The Rev. Givens died Sunday, Jan. 4, at Baylor Hospital of Dallas.
Bobby Frank Givens was born in Hunt County on June 22, 1941, the son of Virgil and Opaline Walden Givens. They preceded him in death.
He married Ella Shaw on April 19, 1971, in Sulphur Springs. She survives.
Rev. Givens was employed by Faith Outreach for 25 years. He was an evangelist in the Northeast Texas area.
Other survivors include two daughters, Janice Evans of Natchitoches, La., and Sharita Givens of Commerce; two sons, Michael Givens and Christopher Shaw, both of Sulphur Springs; three sisters, Anita Shaw, Annie Johnson and Betty Givens, all of Dallas; two brothers, Virgil Givens and M.M. Givens, both of Dallas; and six grandchildren, Markiston Givens, Ke-airra Givens, Malik Johnson, Quentin Givens, Jordan Givens and Justice Givens.
He was also preceded in death by five brothers, Artis Givens, Michael Ray Givens, Marvin Givens, Larry Givens and Leon Givens.
