Funeral services for Robert Lee Roberts, 39, of Sulphur Springs will be 9:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 5, in Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Greg Hallofficiating.
Graveside services will follow at 3 p.m. Monday in the McMahan Cemetery in Holdenville, Okla., with Bobby Brantley Jr., Kenny Barrett, Gary Bishop, Rick Ellison, Mack Kerley and Leon Asbill serving as pallbearers. Charlie Otts, Robert Spinks, Mike Williams and Wayne McCann will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, at the funeral home.
Mr. Roberts died Wednesday, Dec. 31, at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas.
Robert Lee Roberts was born in Grand Prairie on Feb. 22, the son of Bill G. and Joyce Reynolds Roberts.
He married Tena McCann. She survives.
Mr. Roberts was a truck driver for Melton Truck Lines. He was also a member of the Elm Baptist Church in Emory.
Other survivors include his mother, Joyce Roberts of Sulphur Springs; one son, Landon Lee Roberts of Lubbock; and one brother, Kyle Roberts of Melissa.
He was preceded in death by his father in 2001.
