Manah LaRue Sanders Lunsford
Funeral services for Manah Lunsford, 86, of Orange, a native of Sulphur Springs, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange,temporarily located at 1408 W. Park, with Larry Tomlin officiating.
A committal service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 22, at West Oaks Funeral Home in Sulphur Springs. Pallbearers will be Mrs. Lunsford’s grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Mrs. Lunsford died Wednesday, Dec. 17.
Manah LaRue Sanders Lunsford was born June 30, 1922, in Sulphur Springs to Wylie and Margie Anderson Sanders.
She married Leroy Lunsford. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Lunsford was a member of the Church of Christ. Her hobbies included sewing, crocheting and quilting.
Survivors include one daughter, Margie Kirkpatrick of Orange; sons, Jerry Lunsford and Donald Lunsford, both of Orange; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, L.J. “Jack” Sanders of Clinton, Ark.
Mrs. Lunsford was also preceded in death by two sisters and six brothers.
