Warrant round-up slated Saturday

Anyone who has outstanding unpaid tickets issued in Sulphur Springs that have gone into warrant status have until Friday to take care of them or risk being picked up Saturday during the sixth annual Great Texas Warrant Round-up.


David Black to seek HCMH board seat

Sulphur Springs veterinarian Dr. David E. Black has become the second person to file as a candidate for one of two at-large seats on Hopkins County Memorial Hospital District Board of Directors.


Voter registration cards still not in the mail

As a result of ongoing redistricting litigation, federal courts have not set a firm date for primary elections in Texas. Consequently, that means the mailing of new voter registration certificates has again been delayed.

Man in custody since January charged in church burglary

Property stolen during a January church burglary and a business theft which occured in the fall were recovered last week by Hopkins County law enforcement officers.
