Slight decline in city’s tax rate expected

Judge Brown: County tax rate may go down

Hopkins County Judge Chris Brown said Monday that property owners may see a half-cent decrease in property taxes in the coming year while the county can expect to receive the same amount of tax dollars it did during the current fiscal year.
