A&M-Commerce professor keynote speaker at Tuesday kickoff luncheon for United Way fund drive

America is billed as the most generous nation in the world in terms of charity, with more than 65,000 secular charitable organizations and with half the adult population participating in some type of charitable work, according to Dr. Kenneth Lawrence “Rock” Clinton of Texas A&M University-Commerce.


HCUW’s $150,000 goal to benefit 17 agencies

The volunteers working on the 2011-2012 Hopkins County United Way campaign have pledged to do their best to help raise as much as possible of the $150,000 goal to support 17 local agencies.
