Multi-agency investigation begun in false auto title scam

Sheriff’s investigators, Texas Rangers and Texas Comptrollers’ Officer are investigating a local auto business said to have filed lost title complaints on vehicles that had already been paid for, then claiming they have liens and attempting to repossess them.
