Emma Boyett, 10, and her mother Jeanine, pose with the hair they are donating to Locks of Love. Emma and her mother were shopping last year around Easter when they saw a little girl with no hair. The fifth grader said she and her mom decided to grow their hair out so that someone who was “very, very sick could be very, very happy.” Their locks were clipped at a Mesquite salon Thursday. Locks of Love is a non-profit organization that uses donated hair to make wigs for cancer patients who have lost their hair during chemotherapy.
