Give blood and go to a Rangers game

Two local businesses will host blood drives later this month to help bolster Carter BloodCare’s supplies through the summer, when demand is high and donations are low. As if helping save lives wasn’t enough, Carter BloodCare and the Texas Rangers are offering a sweet deal to give basebll fans an extra incentive to become blood donors through the Back Yard Rewards program.

SSISD saves $2.5M by refinancing bonds
