Cumby Volunteer Fire Department will sponsor it’s annual fish fry fundraiser beginning at 4 p.m. this Saturday in Cumby City Park.
The event will once again be held under the big circus tent at the park, and will feature food, fun, live music, raffles and an auction of donated items.
Cumby’s own Exit 110 will be performing at the fish fry, along with the Cross Country Cowboy Church Band and some other local bands.
“We do have a raffle for a new .270 riffle with scope and a beautiful hand- made wooden bench,” said CVFD Chief David Weatherbee of the raffle items.
LifeStar, an air ambulance service, will be landing a medical helicopter at the site during the fundraiser as well.
All proceeds from this year’s fish fry will go to CVFD. Weatherbee said this year’s funds will go toward the purchase of a new Automated External Defibrillator and few equipment upgrades.
