A driving class will be offered Monday, March 31, to help those interested in lowering their insurance rate or to aid in ticket dismissal.

Affiliated Driving School is six hours long, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. While the class is being held at the Senior Citizens Center, drivers of all ages are welcome.

There is a $14 fee for those seeking an insurance discount and $25 for ticket dismissal.  (See the court the ticket is through for those costs and to verify the class is valid for individual ticket needs.)

“If you are interested in saving money on your insurance, call and get your name on the registration list. If you know someone who has gotten a ticket, please let them know about this class. Any age group is welcome,” noted Karon Weatherman, Senior Citizens Center program and marketing director.

Call 903-885-1661 to register for the March 31 class or for more information. The Senior Citizens Center is located at 150 Martin Luther King Drive.
