CPCISD now has app for smart devices

E-mail Print PDF

Nearly everywhere you turn, businesses are offering apps to track their services and to make dissemination of information to large numbers of people easier.

Como-Pickton Consolidated Independent School District this year is joining that group. The district now offers an app that parents, students and community members can download to their smart device to keep up with the latest news and information from CPCISD.

The application is designed to help people stay up-to-date on the school’s news feed, which will be delivered instantly via Push Notification; track upcoming events and schedules with interactive maps and calendars; it provides easy access to school contacts, web links, documents and pictures; track upcoming assignments with My Assignments tool; and allow for anonymous reporting to school administration via The TipLine.

The CPCISD app, like that of many other schools, is free thanks to support from education-friendly businesses. For information about helping sponsor or advertising  on the Como-Pickton CISD mobile app, go online to www.SchoolInfoApp.com or call 318-202-3713.

It’s also easy to download for iPhones, iPads and Android devices. Simply download and scan the QR code from the school website with an Android or iOS device, or search for “Como-Pickton CISD” in the Apple App Store or Google Play, then select proceed as normal for any other app for that device.
