Goldsmith was named valedictorian after attaining a 96.07142 grade point average. He is the son of Terry and Gina Goldsmith.
He enjoys playing basketball, baseball and hanging out with his friends. Goldsmith’s favorite subjects are athletics and social studies.
The valedictorian said his parents are his greatest influences.

Also recognized as an honor graduate is eighth grader Hailey Halbert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Heath Halbert and Ms. Kristie Clayton. She was ranked third in the eighth grade class.
Neal and Goldsmith were recognized with awards during the school’s annual awards assembly May 31, as well as additional certificates, medals and awards for their academic achievements and extracurricular successes.
The three students, along with the rest of the eight graders who met all other promotional requirements, were honored Saturday, June 8, the Sulphur Bluff Junior High and High School graduation.
