Attorney Larry Friday killed in ATV crash

A memorial service for Sulphur Springs attorney Larry Conley Friday Jr., 44, has been set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church.
    Friday died when an all-terrain vehicle he was riding ran off the roadway in the Tanglewood area on Lake Texoma about 11:45 p.m. Friday.
    According to State Trooper Mark Tackett, the crash occured at the intersection of Water Crest Drive and Rustic Ridge Road.
    “They were east bound on Water Crest and left the roadway and rolled down a steep incline,” Tackett said. “The passenger was thrown off and the driver, Friday, was pinned underneath the ATV.”
    Friday was pronounced dead at the scene.
    The passenger on the ATV was John Foerester, 40, of Irving, was in stable condition at Texoma Medical Center in Denison.
    The memorial service for Friday will be conducted at First Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs, at 10 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Mark Bryant officiating.
